How to Plan a Perfect Wedding: It's All in the Details
Things that are often overlooked in a wedding event are oftentimes the most important components that must be given equal attention… because no matter how much money you spend on your wedding gowns, food, flowers and decorations, if you do not give attention to small details, you cannot achieve a perfect wedding you desire.
Here are those things that you can easily overlook but will certainly define a perfect wedding.
Color Harmony
You know that there is something wrong in a wedding event by just looking at it. Since wedding colors will dictate the kind of decoration and the overall motif of your wedding, harmony is important. There are safe and popular wedding colors you can choose. These include: soft pink and brown, pink and green, hot pink and black, fuschia and lime green, and fuschia and orange. Or, you can always choose your wedding colors but check first if they match with your wedding theme.
The guest table
A guest table contains so many things. These include linens, centerpieces, candles and holders, flatware, toasting glasses, glassware, coasters and napkins, water pitchers, milk creamers, lemon, sugar, lime, sweetener, cake knife, saucers, cups, spoons, and decorations.
Take note that all of these compliment one another. One wrong item on a table will certainly ruin the whole setup. So, make a good centerpiece, match it with a good linen or table cloth, place dinning ware and utensils that are appropriate to the wedding theme, and make sure that the small and sometimes unnoticeable things such as napkins, coasters, candles and holders are given equal importance.
Accessories
There are accessories that you cannot forget like your shoes, bags, veil, and gloves. And for sure, you already have plans for each of them. However, there are certain wedding accessories that remain unnoticeable but will definitely give a good impact to the overall look of your wedding.
Have you considered the color and type of lace that will tie your bouquet? Have you thought of the headdress that the bridesmaids would wear? Have you considered accessorizing your guestbook that will fit with the right theme? Have you considered details to your ring pillows? Probably not. These little things are not given enough attention since most would not notice it right? Wrong!
Think of it this way: Imagine food without salt and pepper, then you will know wedding without these accessories.
Again, there are small things that your wedding can survive without; but are very important if you want to achieve a perfect wedding.
Food
The perfect food at the right time, season, and theme of your wedding; this should be your aim and not just selecting the food you love.
Pick a menu which is proper for the season and don’t just pick from what the caterer serves. Talk to different caterers and tell them about the menu you want. Choose once that can serve your chosen menu. Remember to schedule food tasting to ensure that you serve the right foods at the wedding.
Planning a perfect wedding is as difficult as you think. Just make sure that you give great attention to all the major wedding details and the small things greater.
